Teach a man to fish and you’ll feed him for a lifetime. A cat in China taught itself to fish for additional ingredients and since then, it has been pairing its kibbles with a strand of noodles every day.

The cat, which is known as Popsicle knows what it’s doing, and it certainly knows that kibbles alone are not enough for his meal. Popsicle wants some flavor to the kibbles, so it goes to the noodle shop every single day and “meows” for a strand of noodles, as revealed in the Douyin video on the account dedicated to itself. The kind owner of the stall happily gives Popsicle what it wants – a strand of noodles every day.

With the strand dangling from its mouth, Popsicle wasted no time and immediately headed home. This reminds us of the story of a bird that flies miles away just to catch some worms for its hatchlings that are comfortably resting in the nest.

In this case, the cat hunts for food every day for no one but itself.

When Popsicle reaches home, it would add a strand of noodles to the kibbles and starts chewing the food together. Popsicles know what’s best suited for his appetite.

According to the shop owner, Popsicle visits the store twice a day for its share of the noodles. The store owner is well aware of Popsicle’s daily visit, so she will keep Popsicle’s “share” of noodles every day and wait for the feline to visit the place and collect his share.

Popsicle is quite well-known around the area, so much so that it has gained millions of followers on its Douyin account.

Animals tend to revisit your place once they know you’re happy to feed them. Do you have a cat or a dog that frequently visits your place for some snacks?
