Azalina Othman Appointed As Special Advisor To The PM For Law And Human Rights
Pengerang Member of Parliament, Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said has been appointed as Special Advisor to the Prime Minister (Law and Human Rights). The matter was informed by Azalina through a Facebook post on her Facebook today. She wrote,
“Thank you YAB Datuk Seri Sri Ismail Sabri bin Yaakob for the trust. Insya-Allah, with my nature, I will do my best for the country.”
As reported by Utusan, she received the appointment letter last Thursday (30 September). Azalina is a UMNO leader who has been vocal in fighting for the proposed Dismissal of the Members of Parliament Bill (RUU).

She had previously sent a notice of the proposed Dismissal of Members of Parliament Bill 2021 to the Speaker of the House of Representatives last month. Apart from Azalina, another UMNO assemblyman, Datuk Ahmad Jazlan Yaakub (Machang MP) was appointed Felcra chairman this week.
