After Harith Iskander and Cecelia Yap were fined for their controversial “Ham” issue, a man shared another provoking video of himself mocking Islam.
Following online criticisms, the man issued a public apology yesterday (March 10) via a video on Facebook, saying he regretted his actions and realised “he shouldn’t have done that.” The UMNO Youth Chief, however, did not buy his apology and is not happy about another do-first-apologise-later incident.

“Bring him to the mosque!”
In his statement on Facebook, Dr Akmal Saleh expressed his annoyance over the same cycle of apology after insult, saying that the man’s apology was “too easy.”
“This culture has got to stop! Do you think we’re going to forgive you easily after you have insulted our religion?”
Recently, three radio DJs were taken off-air after they allegedly insulted Hinduism in a viral video, and they travelled to Batu Caves to apologise to the committee member of the temple, Sivakumar Nadarajah.
In response to that, Akmal said the man who said sorry after mocking Islam should do the same by visiting the Muslims’ house of worship.
“Bring him to the mosque to apologise!”

Sivakumar, in a statement, responded to the matter via his Instagram account @sivakumarnadra and said that it is wrong to insult other religions, regardless of who does it.
Akmal also questioned the “disappearance” of the politicians who expressed their dissatisfaction against the radio DJs, saying that the same politicians should also come forward and voice out against the man who mocked Islam.
“The laws apply to everyone, regardless of who you are!”
“We want strict action to be taken against this man!”
Police reports were recently lodged against the man, and PDRM said they were still locating the suspect, who is believed to be overseas.
