Budak-budak Subang Jaya have been mourning the loss of Asia Café since it closed down on October 31, 2017.

Indeed, this harsh reality couldn’t be anymore real as the place is officially in the midst of being destroyed. Oh no!

However, there have been rumours flying amok of an Asia Café 2 opening up right in SS15 as well. A massive sign stating “Asia Café 2 Opening soon” was spotted by many people near PappaRich.

Now, before any of you jump up and down in glee, take note that this is NOT REAL.

According to Johanan Sree, the executive project manager from KKL Training Sdn Bhd, there is no Asia Café 2.

He told WORLD OF BUZZ,

“I don’t think there will be an Asia Café 2. The Asia Café management will be moving into property development now.”

In fact, Asia Café’s management has threatened to sue the living daylights out of the establishment if they continue to use Asia Café’s name. Thus, the ‘Asia Café 2’ in the ‘Asia Café 2 Opening soon’ sign has been blanked out.

Well, before your heart breaks into a million pieces, you can still get a piece of Asia Café (quite literally) if you visit the original place before November 15 because they’re having a closing down sale!

All the furniture such as the super heavy cement tables, air-conditioners, tents, fans, kitchen appliances and many more have been put up on sale.

We’re talking about industrial-grade items here, and they are mostly suitable for restaurants or events usage. Not so suited for homes, lah…

Johanan, who is handling the resale and warehousing of AC’s furniture, shared that since the management plans on fully transitioning into property and will no longer be in the F&B sector, they do not want to keep any of these items.

Which is why ALL furniture must go.

When you visit the Asia Café ruins, you can just walk in and look for Alam who is the sales person for all these items. If you can’t make a trip all the way there just yet, you can call Alam at 019-3531717 for more information.

Fret not, buyers, because they also offer transportation services, but with a fee of course.

In case you are looking for some of these items but they’re not available at the Asia Café site, fret not because they have a warehouse filled with more stuff. You can always pay a visit to their warehouses too for other items.

In fact, if you’re interested in purchasing a bunch of other types of furniture for your home, you can also purchase from their warehouses.

“Everything you can imagine finding in a hotel room, you can find here; from tables, beds, chandeliers to stainless steel kitchen equipment, lights and sound system, hotel furniture, etc.”

“We deal with hotels, restaurants, auctions, and bars as well.”

“Basically, we have everything. Besides hotels, we also have items for restaurants, bars, cafes, offices and even homes. You need to come to our warehouse to see all the things we have.”
