What happens when a famous local food entrepreneur meets (but not in person!) one of the world’s biggest chefs?

You’d get one epic duet, of course!

Local celebrity chef and entrepreneur Khairul Aming took to his Twitter page to showcase how the one and only Gordon Ramsay had made a duet of his Burnt Sugar Steamed Pudding recipe video!

He excitedly wrote, “Guys, Gordon Ramsay made a duet of my cooking video!”

In the video, Gordon Ramsay started off by acknowledging his fondness for Malaysia.

“Oh, hello Malaysia! We love Malaysia.”

While Khairul Aming explained that his Burnt Sugar Steamed Pudding recipe was, in fact, inspired by Gordon Ramsay’s recipe book, Uncharted, Gordon Ramsay said, “Thank you but let’s not worry about the book, let’s worry about your recipe!”

He also cautioned Khairul Aming to sift his dry ingredients, which he didn’t do, to avoid lumps but ultimately decided that Khairul Aming would spot the lumps (and fix them accordingly) anyways.

After adding everything in, Khairul Aming mixed all his ingredients together with a regular-sized wooden spoon, prompting Gordon Ramsay to say, “We need to get you a bigger spoon for Christmas! That’s a tiny spoon!”

The overall video was truly entertaining to watch, especially with Gordon Ramsay’s excitement and enthusiasm.
