2 local workers suffered burns from the fire while another broke their leg jumping from the building upon hearing the explosion.

Seri Alam District Police Chief, Superintendent Mohd Sohaimi Ishak shared that initial investigations found that the fire was caused by 2 tanks that had exploded.

“All victims were sent to the Penawar Pasir Gudang Hospital for further treatment,”

“The fire and rescue team as well as the factory emergency relief team managed to put out the fire at 8:30pm. The incident did not result in any casualties,” he said.

We’re so happy that no one lost their lives and that our brave firefighters managed to put the dangerous blaze to rest.
