“During the incident, the traffic lights were clearly red and the purpose of the marshal’s action was to give way to a group of high-powered motorcyclists moving in a convoy to pass the traffic lights,” he said.

He said the convoy of powerful motorcycles was moving from the Seremban – Port Dickson Highway (SPDH) towards the Sua Betong traffic light towards the Sunggala Telok Kemang Roundabout.

“Police are tracking down the individual who acted as the marshal and anyone who has information related to the incident is asked to cooperate with the Port Dickson IPD at the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Division or call the direct line at 06-647 2222.”

“Vehicle convoy participants cannot take any action to stop, control, divert vehicles on public roads without any presence of members or police officers because it can endanger themselves and other road users,” he added.
