We’re truly in the golden age of technology, guys! The world’s first “smart condom” is the latest thing to rise from the tech and sexual health industries.

The i.Con, developed by British Condoms, is a condom ring made of rubber and a waterproof carbon fibre unit that contains a variety of sensors and nano-chips.

This ring is meant to be worn during intercourse so that it can measure variables like the number of calories burned, temperature, frequency of intercourse sessions, penis girth, average number of thrusts and “velocity” just to name a few.

Mind-blowing, isn’t it?

This ring of course, can connect to your smartphone through the i.Con app, where all data from your past intercourse sessions is stored. It also has a built-in USB port so you can transfer and save your data on your computer, too!

Manufacturers of the i.Con also claim that if the ring is used with a condom, it can be used to secure it in place and prevent it from sliding off, making it safer to use.

For those of you concerned about privacy issues, British Condoms have stated that “all data will be kept anonymous, but users will have the option to share their recent data with friends, or, indeed the world.”

As of now though, the i.Con is still going through the final stages of testing and is not on sale right now, so it’s pretty hard to get at the moment.
