We all have those days when we have a “brain-fart” and just do something that’s frankly a tiny bit stupid. Well, if you’re having one of those days, cheer up reading this as there are some people with “brain-farts” worse than yours out there.

The past month brought 11.11 with massive sales and deals that nobody can resist. Products that were usually way beyond your budget came with more than 50 per cent discounts. Imagine getting a brand new iPhone for just RM23! Well, DON’T as it’s a fake product and you should be suspicious if a product that is originally 4-figure priced is sold that cheap.

As you can see and read clearly, the product’s name is Apple iPhone11/11Pro/11ProMax Dummy iPhone model For Shop Display (not real phone).

Keyword: DUMMY and NOT REAL PHONE

Twitter user @jib posted a tweet saying “I always thought I was stupid but there are people even stupider than me!” You might be wondering what lead him to tweet this. Well, it turns out there were many online shoppers who bought this product and got angry when it wasn’t functioning.

“This phone is fake and not a real phone. It’s just a model phone.”

“Parcel safe delivery but I didn’t get the charger and others as much in the review picture. I can’t even open the phone.”

“Don’t believe this iPhone, it’s a lie. You can’t even open your phone at all.”

“Delivery time too long. The iPhone cannot even be turned on even after I tried switching it on. The storage is also very bad.”

“I’ve already received the phone but it can’t be turned on. I bought two but both of them can’t be turned on.”

The seller responded to some of the comments saying that while they’re sorry the buyers had a frustrating experience, they’ve clearly explained that the phone is fake.”It’s a fake phone, of course it can’t be turned on,” they said.

You know how when we were in school and the teachers would say,”Read the question multiple times,”. There’s a reason this is drilled into us as you can clearly see this is what happens when you neglect easy instructions.

Remember, unless you’re paying RM23 per day, there’s no way an iPhone would cost that less. Moving forward, make sure to read a product desrcription over and over, lest you want to be called out.
