A would-be snatch theft attempt was avoided when one would-be victim decided to take things into her own hands.

Taking to Twitter, @atikahzaini shared her experience of how she foiled a snatch theft attempt nearby Ampang Point, Kuala Lumpur.

Recalling her experience, here is what happened.

“Today, I had the experience foiling a snatch theft attempt on me by two criminals. Thank god I was able to pry my bag away from the thieves but it destroyed my favourite bag in the process.”

“I urge everyone to be careful. The incident took place near Ampang Point, around 4.30 pm.”

Imagine that, in broad daylight! She shared images from the incident, showing the thieves smashing the passenger side window in an attempt to steal her handbag.
