I’m sure some of the clubbing kakis are missing the night scene! However, clubs and bars are still not allowed to operate in Malaysia la.

In the city of Nijmegen in the Netherlands, a club has resumed their business on 6th June but with some new guidelines in place such as:

  • Only 30 people at one time
  • You can only dance while sitting in your chair
  • Social distancing of 1.5m apart
  • Book for your slots

Yes, you read that right. If you still don’t believe it then here are some pictures.

The club named Doornroosje actually wanted to just ask their customers to socially distance themselves when on the dancefloor, but the Health Ministry ordered them to set up the chairs. And instead of opening the club at night, they start operating in the afternoon. Ayyyy, the people there can go for some post-lunch dancing then.

Koos Hornman, the club’s marketing manager said to Insider,

“Sitting in this setting is, and looks, very strange. However, people really enjoyed being in our venue again and just having a little taste of the atmosphere and the loud music.”

The cover charge for this club is 10 euros (RM48.27) and it comes with a drink. That’s a little expensive if compared to Malaysian clubs but look at all these people smiling while head-banging.
