These past couple of days, a few areas were hit by really strong winds and rain. But that didn’t stop our heroes from doing their job and delivering food right to people’s doorsteps.

A video recently went viral after it shows a GrabFood rider bracing through the strong weather and his sheer commitment had won the hearts of many netizens.

In the video, it can be seen that the man was trying to push his motorcycle through water which reached to almost his knee.

Amidst the Movement Control Order (MCO), Grab has also taken a lot of initiatives to ensure the well-being of their employees. Riders are provided with free masks via GrabBenefits.

Furthermore, they’ve also set up a protection fund known as Grab ‘Partner Protection Fund’ and it offers up to RM1,000 per driver or delivery-partner. This fund helps their employees who are either tested positive, or are required by the Health Ministry (MOH) to self-quarantine.

Customers can also consider leaving a tip for the hardworking drivers and delivery partners to show their appreciation!

Food delivery riders are amongst the frontliners who are working throughout MCO. By delivering food right to our doorstep, they ensure that we don’t have to leave our homes to go and get food.

The MCO period is now extended till 12th May, so let’s work together and continue to stay at home. Hopefully, there are better times to come.
