Okay, first there was the boba tea craze.

Not long after, weird food combinations with boba started popping out (no pun intended). The latest one being a man who cooked rice with bobaWhuuut?!

We present to you the internet’s next gruesome invention: Mee goreng boba.

Yes, someone actually added boba with their fried instant noodles!

The caption that came with the image writes,

“Food nowadays are getting weirder and weirder. Mee goreng with boba :)”

The image shows mee goreng paired with Malaysians’ favourite telur mata. On top of the noodles were bobas with unidentified thick white cream.

Needless to say, this post garnered a lot of negative reactions from netizens. Many being grossed out by the sheer looks of it.

And honestly? We feel the same too D:

We just think this craze needs to stop. It’s ok to love boba tea, but adding it to your mee goreng? Please lahhhh!
