This is just great!

According to ERA, three Malaysians just won the Beyblade Asia Championship 2019 Malaysia Qualifier and they will be representing our nation in the International competition, being held in Incheon, Korea.

Beyblade Malaysia shared on their Facebook that Lucas Ma was the champion of the qualifier meanwhile Sak Seng Hon and Hadeef came in as the 1st and 2nd runner up.

Upon winning the qualifier, the top three winners – who are all below the age of 12! – brought back some cool hampers and an accessory Beyblade set, as well as tickets to the tournament in Korea. Woots woots!

If you didn’t know, Beyblade is a popular game in Japan and is a stylised replica of the traditional spinning tops. This toy was particularly famous in the early 2000s (the 90s babies would probably remember this game!).

In fact, there was even an anime adaptation of Beyblade which also released during the early 00s and it had a huge following back then. That said, it looks like the Beyblade hype has yet to die down because there are still competitions for it now!

Well, WORLD OF BUZZ wishes all three of them the best of luck for their tournament in Korea and we hope that they will make us proud on an international pedestal. All the best, boys!
