A 31-year-old man from Chiang Mai, Thailand, has been looking after his new 21-year-old girlfriend ever since she got into an accident that caused her to be paralysed from the neck down.
According to News Flare, Narawut Phongyen and Patcharaphan Lenkham met on social media in July 2015 and talked for seven months before meeting each other, but just days before their first date in February 2016, Patcharapan got into a bad accident and was seriously injured.

She was diagnosed with herniated disks, which caused her body to be paralysed from the neck down – all she could move was one of her thumbs.
However, instead of abandoning the girl he hadn’t even met before, Narawut cancelled the restaurant booking and rushed to the hospital where he met Patcharaphan for the first time on her hospital bed.
Narawut must love her so much because he then promised to care for her and has been doing so every day for three years! He feeds and washes her every day, does housework for her like washing her clothes and tidying her room.
He also helps her through her physiotherapy sessions which has helped her regain the use of her arms!

A recent video taken on 29th August 2019 shows Narawut walking to her home during his lunch break and feeds her food while keeping her company. In the video, Patcharaphan said that her boyfriend is her biggest motivation for trying to regain the use of her limbs.
”I’m very lucky to know him and have him in my life. But I also feel sorry for him because I know it’s very challenging to be with a disabled person,” she said.

”He is the reason I still do physical therapy and hope that one day I can walk again and stand by his side.”
Currently, the couple are living together as they hope that they can start a family one day.
”I feel better every time I arrive home from a busy day at work and see her face. She also takes care of me as well,” Narawut said.

”I also promise her and her family that if she is fully recovered, I will propose to her and have a big wedding in her village.”
