Guess Malaysians still have not learnt our lesson! Remember back in January when 15-year-old S. Sathiwaran was tragically killed when some irresponsible person threw a chair down his apartment building in Pantai Dalam?

The same incident has happened again in Ampang but luckily, this time there were no injuries reported. Instead, an innocent Perodua Myvi was the victim of an irresponsible resident at Taman Seri Intan, reported China Press. Another resident at the apartment was shocked when he discovered that his Perodua Myvi was damaged and smashed by a television set that was tossed from the upper floors at around noon on April 3. Someone could’ve gotten hurt or killed!

He quickly alerted the management about his damaged car and they, in turn, lodged a police report at around 12.50pm. District police chief Assistant Commissioner Hamzah Alias confirmed the incident and said that they took the car owner’s statement.

At that time, one of the management staff was at the nearby garden when he heard a loud crash. The 10kg television had been thrown out from one of the upper floors and wrecked the Perodua Myvi. Seriously! After investigations, the police found that the television set belonged to a tenant of one of the units on the 13th floor.

However, he said that he was not responsible for throwing the television unit outside and did not know who had done it. The owner said that he had placed the television outside his unit when it fell on his leg. The damaged television set had been sitting in front of the apartment unit for three weeks as he had not gotten around to throwing it away before it was tossed down to the ground.

The police are still investigating the case and urge any witnesses to come forward to assist if they have any info about the incident.

Please be responsible and considerate citizens, people. You may just injure or even kill someone with your irresponsibility!
