29-year-old Abdul Rahman Abdul Rahim made it out of a tragic accident in Terowong Menora in Perak, but unfortunately, his pregnant wife and daughter did not survive.

Abdul Rahman’s Perodua Bezza swerved into the drain, and his late wife was thrown off the passenger seat before she was run over by another car, causing severe injuries to her head, which eventually led to her death in the ICU.

She was 8 months pregnant, and the pair’s daughter was also pronounced dead.

Abdul Rahman had the chance to see his late wife for the last time in the hospital and was heartbroken knowing that his wife and kids were gone.

“Why did you leave? You took all the kids with you, and didn’t even leave one for me,” Abdul cried.

The matter was revealed by Abdul Rahman’s brother-in-law to Sinar Harian, who said the former managed to see his late wife for one last time despite suffering heavy injuries.

“He managed to see his wife before she passed away. He was then brought to the forensic unit to look at her one last time.”

In the incident at around 6:45 pm, Naira Falisha Abdul Rahman, who was in critical condition, died at the scene, while her mother, Nur Fatihah Badrul Hisham, 25, breathed her last at 9 am on Monday while receiving treatment at HRPB.

Abdul Rahman, on the other hand, had completed surgery and was discharged from the hospital but still needed further treatment.

In another update by PDRM, the police confirmed that the driver who ran over Fatihah had visited the police station to provide a statement.
