Renowned Malaysian actress, Fasha Sandha, shared her recent encounter with an air stewardess who asked a question that made her feel uncomfortable.
“Fasha Sandha… Economy class?”
In her lengthy Instagram post @fashasandha, Fasha felt the need to highlight the ethics of an air stewardess and said that regardless of the reason, it is never appropriate to ask the passenger such a question.
“Yes, I am a celebrity, but what’s wrong if I take economy class for my trip? You didn’t need to ask me that question in front of my kids and other passengers.”
“Yes, you apologised and sent us a pizza. But I still feel hurt because your question seemed insulting.”

Fasha, who used to dream of becoming an air stewardess, said that she has always trained herself to live moderately, and when it comes to flying, she would opt for economy class.
She simply wanted to save however she could

As for the sudden question posed by the air stewardess, Fasha was shocked because her family was never questioned about their choices. Frustrated, Fasha took a photo of the air stewardess. Another stewardess noticed this and approached Fasha to ask if she had taken a photo of her colleague, to which the actress did not deny.
“I told the other air stewardess that I was going to file a complaint with customer service, and the first air stewardess came to me to apologise.”
“I told her that I was never questioned about my life choices, and reminded her not to ask anything that could hurt the passenger’s feelings.”

Fasha also said that her kid used to request a business class seat, to which she said no and explained why.
“I told my kid that a ticket for business class costs thousands of ringgit, and we might as well donate the money to those who need it. The ticket for an economy class is much cheaper.”
“A VIP or a celebrity, there’s nothing wrong with choosing economy class.”
