This video clip touched many hearts today, as a family was seen walking to the entrance of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) on registration day, yesterday.

It was understood that the family travelled from Sarawak and had taken a bus to Pahang.

Here is a video of this family in action.

According to the university’s social media channel, the family was given assistance upon arrival.

“From afar, we saw a family walking in the scorching sun. We thought that they may have had car trouble. It was indeed a heart-wrenching sight.”

“We understood then that they arrived from Sarawak.”

“Staff from UMPSA scrambled to find a vehicle for the family.”

Upon success, this was what the university had to say about the situation.

“This is truly a show of how far parents’ are willing to go, accompanying their child to a higher learning institution, despite the challenges.”

Let’s hope stories like these will inspire children to show much love to their parents.
