The Johor Bahru South District Police will investigate a fight believed to involve a group of men and two individuals at a restaurant in Permas Jaya, Johor.
Johor Bahru South District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Raub Selamat, said so far, they have only received a police report from one of the victims.

“At 9.12 pm last night, one victim came forward to lodge a police report. Investigations will begin,” he said when contacted.
Raub added that no other parties, including the restaurant owner or the other victim, have filed a report.
Attack lasted 35 seconds before bystanders intervened
Earlier, a 1-minute-29-second video that went viral on social media showed several people sitting at a restaurant, including two victims, before four men dressed in dark clothing were seen loitering in the area.
They were then seen approaching the table where the two male victims were seated and appeared to say something before one of them started hitting a victim.

Moments later, a group of men dressed in black, believed to be more than 20 individuals, suddenly stormed in from all directions of the restaurant and also attacked the two victims.
However, the assault lasted only about 35 seconds before some bystanders tried to help the victims, prompting the group to leave the restaurant.
