Taking to Twitter, this netizen shared disturbing images of a croc carrying its victim in open waters. Believed to be a child, the image of the croc swimming away before diving shocked bystanders of the incident.

With the caption confirming that the victim is carried away by the croc, corresponding videos gave us a play-by-play of what took place.
“The child can be seen being carried away by the croc, before it dove into the river.”
Not long after, a video showing how the villagers caught and killed the crocodile surfaced.
Upon further investigation, the unfortunate child was NOT in the belly of the crocodile, which triggered a search and rescue party by local authorities.
It is important to note that search and rescue efforts are still ongoing.
