A couple claims to have experienced a mystical encounter while providing henna services to a bride-to-be near A’ Famosa Resort.

The story of the couple, aged 29 and 30, went viral on TikTok when they recounted being in a muddy area in Kampung Ulu Pegoh before being rescued by the Alor Gajah Fire and Rescue Department (BBP).

In their post, they described the mystical experience as if they were ‘taken’ by another entity to a quiet and eerie area in the village while driving a Perodua Kelisa.

According to Sinar Harian, the fire department arrived at the location after receiving an emergency call from the couple.

Meanwhile, Melaka Zone 2 Fire and Rescue Department Chief, Fire Superintendent Tc Zulkhairani Ramli, said that the fire department’s tasks are not limited by the nature of the case, whether mystical or not, but rather the efficiency of the personnel in resolving public issues.

According to him, after receiving the emergency call from the couple, three personnel led by Senior Fire Officer II Muhammad Nur Fawzal Samsunahar, along with three other members, rushed to the location in a four-wheel-drive vehicle.

Upon arrival, they found the couple’s car stuck in 15 centimeters of mud at the end of Kampung Ulu Pegoh road near A’ Famosa Resort.

They claimed they were led to the location based on Google Maps directions to A’ Famosa Resort using the Kampung Pegoh route.

“When found, the couple was in a state of panic and fear but did not suffer any serious injuries.”

“The fire department immediately began work to pull the car out using winching methods,” he said.
