Taking to Threads, netizen @hafizah_rahman shared a video showing water gushing from a broken pipe onto parked vehicles at MITEC.

The video, which has garnered 4.5k likes, shows what appears to be dirty water, believed to have originated from a toilet on the floor above, affecting multiple vehicles and leading to the closure of the affected toilet.

In the caption, the netizen wrote, “Sewage water is raining down on cars parked at MITEC. I would advise owners affected to wash their cars.”

Other netizens also weighed in.

“We were among those affected by the leak. I initially thought it was from the air-conditioning unit. I asked the staff and security personnel, and they confirmed it was sewage water,” one user commented.

In the comments section, another netizen pointed out that the affected cars would require more than just a regular wash.

“Sewage water can damage your car’s clear coat. You’ll need to send your car for polishing and detailing, as the water can seep into the rubber finishes.”

Let’s hope the management at MITEC finds a solution that benefits all parties affected.
