When you’re young and in love, you’ll feel like your relationship can withstand all odds and tend to do things that you might regret later. One of the common things people do is get tattoos of their partner’s name, which is really just a permanent mistake!

On 7 May, Vietnamese media reported about a teenager who got a tattoo of his girlfriend’s name but later covered it with another tattoo after breaking up with her.

The boy said that they loved each other very much and he decided to tattoo his girlfriend’s name on his chest as he thought they would never break up.

He had tattooed the words “My princess” in Vietnamese, her name ‘TruongMinhThu’ and her birth date.

However, the teen recently shared that he had broken up with his girlfriend and decided to cover up her name with a tattoo of a coffin.

“I was very sad after breaking up with her, and so far, I have not been able to escape this pain,” he said.

“After calming down for a period of time, I went to the tattoo shop I had visited before and got another tattoo. A coffin pattern was tattooed in the place of her name and I’m hoping to forget her soon and start a new life.”

This teen wasn’t the only one to get a coffin tattooed over his ex-lover’s name. One photo shows another guy with the exact same coffin tattoo covering his ex-lover’s name at the exact same spot.
