For many of us, after a long day of fasting, it is great to know that we have a set time on when we can break our fast and that would be something we would look forward to during the day.

However, it must be reminded that not all of us have this privilege as some people are unable to break their fast at a certain time due to their jobs or duties.

Recently, a video of our abang-abang bomba getting ready for iftar went viral. The video starts off by showing a variety of food which has been prepared and put on a table ready for them to break their fast with which was a mere 2 minutes away.

But, due to the nature of their job, they had to quickly abandon the food to rush towards a call of distress.

In the video, the abang-abang bomba could be seen breaking their fast with drinks instead in the firetruck.

Our heroes!

The video has since gone viral on social media where netizens praised our abang-abang bomba for their dedication and commitment to their jobs.

“Thank you for your service.”

“I pity them, they work hard but their salary is about the same as a policeman,” said a user.

Meanwhile, a couple of users saw the funny side of the video and made jokes about the situation.

“Thankfully they didn’t bring along the rice pot. Or did they??”

“Why do men always bring the whole rice cooker onto the table?“, asked a user.
