Tinder x God? We certainly did not see that collaboration coming!
The month of February has often been seen as the month of romance and many single people feel the most single that they have been during this time of the year.
For the whole month of February, online dating application Tinder has collaborated with the Trimurti (Thai God of Love) Shrine in front of Central World Mall in Bangkok, Thailand.
The front of the shrine is decorated with Tinder social distancing stickers that say: “Let’s match!” and “Pray and swipe right”. Maybe swiping there will increase one’s chances of matching with a decent person?
Many singles, both men and women went to pray at the shrine to get blessings in the form of romance.
It is said by The Thaiger, that offerings for Trimurti traditionally come in the form of red roses and the best time to do it is on a Thursday night at 9.30pm.
According to Hotels.com, praying to the God of love has proven to be successful for many Thai people as they often get matched with foreigners.
Normally, the shrine is always crowded on Thursday nights to the point that there will be a queue.
Well, you have to do what you have to do all in the name of love! This collaboration with Tinder has ended since it is March but the Trimurti shrine is still there.
So if you need some boost in your romance area, you should definitely go to this shrine to make an offering when the borders open up.
