We all know parents who give their children unique names to make them stand out from everyone else. But, have you met anyone with the name ‘ABCDEF GHIJK’? Yes, straight out from the alphabets!
Believe it or not, an Indonesian dad decided to name his son just that!
According to hops.id and China Press, it was discovered during a 12-year-old student’s vaccination appointment that his name was ABCDEF GHIJK Zuzu. Yes, there is a space between F and G.
The boy from Muara Enim in South Sumatra was getting his vaccination done when his unique name got the attention of many.
As reported by hops.id, the father came up with the idea due to his dream of becoming a writer. He decided on the name before his son ABCDEF GHIJK Zuzu (he goes by Adef now) was even born.
Meanwhile, Zuzu is a combination of both parents’ names, Zulfahmi and Zuhro.
Even the officials registering Adef’s name on his birth certificate thought he was joking but even believed him after thoroughly explaining.
According to sources, Adef’s two other brothers have normal names – Attur and Ammar, although their dad initially wanted to name them NOPQ RSTUV and XYZ (pronounced as ‘siz’).
