Getting paid to travel sounds like a dream job for most people as you get to explore and experience new things while getting bankrolled for it. What could be better? If this sounds like your idea of a dream job then here’s something that will definitely interest you. 

An airline is ready to pay two friends to travel the world and all you have to do is document your fun times by vlogging and blogging about it! OMG, seriously? Budget airline, WOW Air from Iceland is offering to pay two content creators $4,000 (RM15,682) per month for three months as well as covering all travel and living expenses when they visit other places. WOW!

They have just launched their WOW Travel Guide Competition to find suitable applicants for this amazing summer job and best of all, successful candidates will stay in downtown Reykjavik, Iceland from June 1 until August 15. This apartment in Iceland will be used as a base to travel to some of WOW air’s 38 destinations, which includes Europe and North America.

WOW Air says that they want to create a complete digital travel guide, which is the main purpose of the competition. If you are chosen, you will need to document about your trips around the world by making short videos, taking awesome photos and writing travel tips for the various destinations.

Interested? Here’s what you need to know and do: 

1. Shoot a short travel guide video (2 minutes max) by yourself or with your travel buddy about your hometown

2. Upload your video to YouTube, name it “WOW air travel guide application” and submit through the form on their website here to apply

3. Contest is open to candidates all over the world

4. Deadline for entries is May 14 and selected winners will be announced on May 18 on social media

5. Get ready for your three-month adventure starting from June 1 to August 15
