Giving Foodpanda riders a bad name, the Facebook page warned that the suspect is currently active in the Hartamas, Mont Kiara and Segambut area.
The video, which has garnered more than 70k views drew responses from the Malaysian public.
One netizen spoke of how disappointed he was that some people would live the life of a criminal despite having the ability to do honest work.
“You are able-bodied, yet you choose to do dishonest work.”
Another drew attention to the fact that the lady should have been more aware of her surroundings and took preventive measures to avoid becoming a victim.
“The would-be victim should have taken precautionary measures. You have to look after yourself, it is better to prevent than to cure.”
“Don’t make yourself become a victim of snatch theft.”
It is important to note that this is the act of an irresponsible individual who thinks he can benefit from this crime, giving honest riders out there a bad name.
We urge those in the area to be vigilant and extra careful of their surroundings. It is time that we show these criminals that we are no longer easy prey.
