A student with a disability (OKU) was allegedly bullied at GiatMara Durian Tunggal in Melaka, following a viral video on social media that sparked outrage among netizens.
The incident was brought to light by TikTok user masdo21, who was seen with the victim at a badminton court. In the video, Masdo shared how the OKU student had been bullied by other students.

The bullies locked his motorcycle in a cage
For those of you who don’t know, GiatMARA is a government-run training centre in Malaysia under Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA), which operates under the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development.
In the video, Masdo shared how shocked he was to learn that his new friend, who has a learning disability, had been a victim of bullying.
He explained that the student was once pelted with a bottle while sleeping, and in another incident, a group of students even lifted his motorcycle and locked it inside a cage while he was studying.
“I was honestly shocked to find out my new friend was being bullied. There’s even video proof to back up everything. When it comes to bullying someone with disabilities, I just see the bullies as total cowards,” he said.

“Put an end to the bullying cycle”
Masdo also called on GiatMara to take swift action to address the matter.
“If nothing is done or if this case gets brushed aside, I’ll go to GiatMara Durian Tunggal myself and make sure it gets the attention it deserves,” he added.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, he also shared an important message saying:
“Put an end to the bullying cycle. Don’t be afraid to be the first one to speak up. Don’t worry about the consequences, when we do the right thing, good things will come to us. And always have faith in the law. GiatMara Durian Tunggal is still in the process of taking action and has held meetings regarding the incident,” he added.

“This case isn’t new”
Kosmo reported how the incident happened last February and has already been resolved.
The Chairman of the State Committee on Education, Higher Education, and Religious Affairs, Datuk Rahmad Mariman, said the case had already been addressed earlier by Majlis Amanah Rakyat (Mara), with all students involved being called in and made to apologise to the victim.
“The incident isn’t new, it happened around February. MARA had called in all the students involved and statements were taken. The OKU trainee wasn’t injured and has since resumed their skills training as usual”, Rahmad exlained.
