Uh oh! Looks like Nazifuddin Najib isn’t the only one in hot soup! After being spotted waltzing about in Taiwan with his ‘close friend’ Taiwanese actress Celia Zhang, (all while his father is being taken to court for his involvement in 1MDB) the actress’ manager is now preventing her from going onto her Facebook account!

With a post on her Facebook page by what seems to be her manager, it states that the manager has asked for netizens to leave her client in peace and not smear her name. She is afraid of how the comments will affect the actress!

The post also states that the actress did not receive any money or gifts from Mohd Nazifuddin Najib. She has also taken note of the way Malaysians have responded to the whole ‘dating’ incident and clarified that she was merely playing host to him.

According to The Star, who quoted The Daily Apple, Mohd Nazifuddin started wooing the actress about a year ago, however she was already in a relationship. Only when Chang broke up with her boyfriend, Mohd Nazifuddin began pursuing her further.

Nonetheless, their relationships hasn’t been confirmed nor denied by either party so nobody knows whether they’ve left it as friends or if there is more to it then that. However, judging by the pictures that have since been released, people are speculating what the status of their relationship may be.

Netizens aren’t really buying the excuses, with some making some cynical comments on the issue:

But others acted as the voice of reason and defended her decision to go out with Nazifuddin.

Well, what’s your take on the whole issue? Has Celia become a victim of circumstance, or should she have known better than to get involved with Najib’s son while the whole of Malaysia is watching the 1MDB case unfold?
