Syed Saddiq Slams Minister For Funding By-Election Area Because it Has ‘Good Feng Shui’

On TikTok, Syed Saddiq slammed a minister for suddenly handing out RM5mil in what he calls ‘by-election bribery’ ahead of the Dun Kuala Kubu Baharu election in May 2024.

While out on a jog, here is what he has to say.

“The by-election is just around the corner, and a minister has announced their carrot for the by-election of RM5mil.”

He added, “Interestingly, the minister said it has nothing to do with the by-election. He did it because the area he wanted to give the money to had ong!”

“I don’t know whether I should feel sad or angry, but opposition leaders have not received any allocation for almost two years,” he said.

“Dear minister, since when is a place about to have a by-election linked to having good feng shui…and since when is it ok to resort to ‘by-election bribery’?”

Calling the minister to visit his parliamentary seat of Muar, Johor, SS mentioned that they also need millions in allocation because Muar has good ong and feng shui.
