Starbucks never fails to amaze us whenever they launch new merchandise and this time, they have done it again. They recently announced that they will be introducing their first-ever collaboration to produce a new range of merchandise, and they decided to partner with our very own homegrown pewter brand, Royal Selangor.

We at WORLD OF BUZZ managed to get a sneak preview of this exclusive collection that will only be available in Malaysia and boy, the merchandise was gorgeous. Now as a Malaysian, we’re sure that you’ve heard of Royal Selangor before, that famous pewter brand that produces finely crafted pewterware.

This collection is known as Starbucks x Royal Selangor, made with 100% Malaysian pewter and features a diversified collection of a coffee stirrer, espresso shot glass, glass mug, keychains, ID tag and collar pin. That’s not all, as the iconic Starbucks Bearista will also be immortalised in a cute little pewter figurine! It’s super adorable!

The process of selection was not easy, as they had to narrow it down to eight pieces for their first collection. However, the most important was they wanted the collection to embody the essence of Starbucks while highlighting the versatility of pewter. The pieces are all handcrafted, and they are exquisitely made to highlight Royal Selangor’s artisanship through the Starbucks DNA.

The Starbucks x Royal Selangor collection will be available in 100 selected stores only in Malaysia from December 21st onwards. Do note that they have very limited quantities so be sure to grab it fast before it’s gone. Prices start from RM58 and they are all made from 100% Royal Selangor pewter with an engraved Royal Selangor wordmark.
