A 20-year-old man in Singapore has just admitted in court on Friday (May 23) to committing an indecent act on a cat, which was caught on a neighbour’s CCTV camera.

According to reports, the man lived near the cat, which often roamed freely around the area. On April 8, 2023, around 1:50 am, he saw the cat outside, gave it some food. While the cat was eating, the accused appeared to have been aroused and proceeded to lower down his shorts and performing a sexual act on the cat.

The cat’s owner found out what happened after a neighbour showed him the footage. He posted it online to help identify the person, and someone reported it to the police on April 11. The man was arrested the same day.

A vet later confirmed the cat wasn’t physically harmed, but the owner noticed the cat became scared to go outside after the incident.
