What happens when pranks are taken too far?

A Singaporean girl shared her experience on her Twitter account (@champgneqissy) of a prank gone horribly wrong. She thought she could get a laugh sending an edited photo of a dog in her living room to her mother. But she was wrong.

The first photo Quincy sent to her mother was a dog lying in front of their home, and she told her mum “There’s a dog outside of our home”. Her mother quickly instructed her to close the door and don’t let the dog in. But Quincy said the dog entered their home while showing her another (edited) photo of the dog in their living room.

Little did Quincy know, her mother called the POLICE, telling her that they’ll arrive soon. We’re not sure why she would call the police, but we assume that the police would help them to get the dog out.

She quickly told her mother that she was just joking and there wasn’t any dog. Her mum got furious and reminded her that she already called the police, and she didn’t have any intentions to cancel the report.

Realising that she screwed up big time, Quincy pleaded her mother to cancel the police report. She also told her mum that she wouldn’t open the door.

However, her nightmare did come true when suddenly, someone arrived at her doorstep, and it was none other than the police. Wow, we wonder about the efficiency of Singaporean police. The fact that they responded to a report regarding a dog entering a household leaves us in awe as well.

We suppose this incident will traumatise Quincy forever and we’re sure that she’ll stop taking jokes too far. Hopefully, this will serve as a reminder for us to always know the boundaries when it comes to pranking our family members, or anyone in general. ?
