A man has filed a lawsuit at the family court seeking a divorce from his wife just one month after their marriage. The man decided to go forth with a divorce after seeing her without makeup.
According to Gulfnews, the man said he was shocked to see his wife without makeup the morning after their wedding. He claimed that she had deceived him.
“I was deceived by her as she used to apply heavy makeup before marriage. She looks ugly without makeup,” he told the court.
According to sources, the Egyptian man met his partner on Facebook where she would post beautiful pictures of herself with a full face of makeup. From then on, he had met up with her several times before deciding to marry her.
“But after the wedding, I saw her real face without makeup,” he told the court.
“I was shocked … as she looks nothing like the person I met several times before marriage.”
He added saying, “I saw her pictures on Facebook, she looks totally different when she does not wear makeup. I was deceived and want to divorce her.”
