Popular franchise eatery, Murni Discovery has announced temporary closure of all their outlets after seven members of their staff from the Cheras branch tested positive for the Covid-19 virus.
They took to their Facebook page to inform their customers and general public of the incident and their actions following.
“Dear beloved customers, TEMPORARY CLOSURE DUE TO COVID-19. Please be informed that one of our staff at the Cheras branch was confirmed Covid-19 positive on 14 November, in the evening. We have immediately closed ALL Murni branches from 15 November and have arranged for ALL of our staff to be tested. Test results today confirm another six staff members from the Cheras branch tested positive while all staff from other branches have tested negative.”
They assured the general public that all necessary procedures are being followed to ensure no further spread of the virus.
“We have executed full sanitisations for ALL Murni branches. In addition, All Murni branches will remain closed untol further notice, for extra safety measure and extended precautions. We strongly advise all customers who have patronised our Cheras branch in the month of November to comply with KKM’s instructions for immediate testing and 14-days quarantine. We apologise for any inconvenience caused,” they added.
If you, in fact, have visited their store in the time frame mentioned, please do get tested for the sake of your own safety, the safety of your loved ones and the safety of others.
