Every makeup addict loves a good deal, especially if it’s on really good brands.

However, this recent “offer” that went viral on Facebook earlier this week seemed too good to be true!

On Wednesday (21st February), a netizen took to the social media site to help spread the word about a deal at Sephora that makeup lovers simply cannot miss. The translated post reads,

“Sephora has a Bring Your Own Bag Day offer. You can bring a bag of any size and fill it up with any makeup or skincare product you want within 15 minutes, and you only need to pay RM150.00 for everything. It doesn’t matter how many products you take!”

Wah! Sounds like a steal, right?

Well, unfortunately for a good number of netizens, some of them got a little too excited and overlooked the last sentence, which read,

“Happening only on the 29th and 30th of February 2018.”

Haiyo!! For those who didn’t get it, those two dates are non-existent.

Needless to say, loads of users were understandably disappointed upon discovering that the offer was obviously too good to be true.

So, needless to say, there’s no such thing as “Bring Your Own Bag Day” at Sephora, although we absolutely love the concept.

Well, we guess we’ll just have to stay thrifty and wait for the next deal. Psst… Sephora, try implementing this offer (at your own T&Cs) in the future, lah! 😉
