For Sabahans and Sarawakians, rice is more than just a daily essential — it’s a symbol of unity, gratitude, and tradition. From planting to harvest, every grain reflects the deep bond between community, culture, and the land. That’s why festivals like Gawai and Kaamatan are so meaningful, bringing families together to honour the harvest and give thanks.

This festive season, Carlsberg proudly joins the celebration, paying tribute to the rich heritage and vibrant spirit of East Malaysia.

In the spirit of the season, Carlsberg unveils rice art-inspired artist edition packaging for Sabah and Sarawak, along with a vibrant music video to celebrate good times!

Here’s how Carlsberg is inviting Malaysians to celebrate the pride of Sabah and Sarawak:

  • Sarawak Design: Hornbill soaring above a longhouse – a symbol of luck and legacy.

Carlsberg Danish Pilsner (Limited-time only in May – June while stocks last)

  • Sabah Design: The gentle Orangutan and mystical Rafflesia – two of Borneo’s most iconic marvels.
