A video shared via Malaysia Unfold has been making the rounds online, showing a heated argument between Siti Kasim and former Pahang MB Tan Sri Adnan Yaakob after they had a run-in with each other at the Kuala Lumpur High Court yesterday (April 28).

The incident happened while lawyer Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah was holding a press conference about former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak’s case, according to Sinar Harian.

“The Orang Asli have been cheated many times”

Prior to the incident, Adnan was seen chatting and taking pictures with Orang Asli individuals in the lobby. However, things suddenly turned tense when the two began arguing over issues involving the Orang Asli.

It’s understood that Siti allegedly made remarks urging the Orang Asli not to trust politicians, accusing them of being liars.

“Don’t talk too much, the Orang Asli have been cheated so many times already. Isn’t that right?” she said.

“It’s none of her business”

Adnan fired back, claiming that lawyers also often lied. He added that he had a good relationship with the Orang Asli community in Pahang.

“You’re only showing up now. Go ask the Orang Asli in Pahang what my relationship with them is like. Don’t interfere. Enough already, this lying lawyer, it’s none of her business but she still wants to butt in,” he said.

The argument, which lasted for over 10 minutes, eventually ended when both Adnan and Siti were seen walking off in different directions.
