It was only the third day of CMCO yesterday (11 October) in certain areas of Klang but people were already walking over borders set by authorities to buy and deliver goods.

In a series of pictures shared by Sin Chew Daily, many individuals can be seen flouting the order by trespassing the yellow concrete barriers that were supposed to limit the movement of citizens living in these high-risk areas, in an attempt to curb the spread of the virus.

These people aren’t just crossing borders to buy goods, they are also passing items to and fro across the boundaries to continue trading with customers and make deliveries for business matters. Many are beginning to question why the CMCO was put in place at all if individuals were just going to blatantly disregard the regulations like this.

Authorities added two more roadblocks in Klang Mukim yesterday following the enforcement of the CMCO. The two additional areas are at Taman Sentosa and Jalan Sungai Udang, Kampung Delek South Klang said district police chief, ACP Shamsul Amar Ramli in a statement recorded by BERNAMA. He added that those who do not comply with CMCO regulations will be issued compound fines.

With more areas around us reporting positive cases, citizens are advised to be vigilant and limit going out unless absolutely necessary.

What do you guys think about this?
