Penang Police are tracking down a Covid-19 patient who had escaped from Hospital Pulau Pinang today (15 November 2020).
The 23 year old patient was receiving treatment at the hospital and fled out of his ward at 3:20pm, according to Astro Awani. Last seen, he was wearing a white shirt and pants and his pink surveillance tag was left on his bed.
Datuk Sahabudin Abd Manan, the Penang Police Chief confirmed the incident and said that police are actively tracking down the fled patient.
“We already started actively tracking the patient the moment we received the report from the hospital,” he added.
Meanwhile, there is a total of 1,208 new Covid-19 cases, 1,013 new recovered cases and 3 deaths in Malaysia today (15 November 2020).
