The shooting that took place at Setia City Mall on Saturday night (February 8) injured a cleaner and sent the crowd running out of the mall. The shooter escaped after forcing a driver to get him out of the mall.

He then instructed the driver to drop him off near the Pandamaran exit of the Kesas Expressway.

In the latest update by PDRM, Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Director, Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain said the suspect who opened fire was angered by the cleaner’s request to move his belongings from the area.

The suspect fired a total of 8 shots and is believed to have been under the influence of drugs at the time.
