A video of a road user stopping a lorry on a highway has been making the rounds online, garnering attention and praise from netizens for his quick action.

Rulamrul Advansado shared a video on his Facebook page showing how he jumped in just in time to help prevent a potential accident after realising that one of the lorry’s tyres looked wobbly.

The lorry even attempted to overtake his car

In the video, Rulamrul Advansado explained that he tried to get the lorry driver’s attention after noticing that one of the tyres was in particularly bad shape.

He emphasised how dangerous the lorry was for other road users, especially given how the lorry driver attempted to overtake his car, even after he signalled for the driver to pull over.

There was only 1 screw left to hold the tyre in place

Once the lorry driver managed to pull over safely to the side of the road, Rulamrul Advansado took it upon himself to thoroughly inspect the lorry’s tyre, and to his surprise, he discovered that only 1 screw was left holding the tyre in place.

“You know what would’ve happened if I hadn’t stopped this lorry? Just look at its wobbly tyre, and see how many screws have come loose? There’s only one left,” he explained.

He then expressed his concern about the potential dangers it could pose not only to the driver but also to other road users nearby before ending the video.

“Not everyone would take on that kind of responsibility, especially to the point of stopping the lorry out of concern for everyone else’s safety. You’re a true hero, brother!”

“You’re the best, brother, for taking swift actions to protect the lives of the public.”
