Now we all know that famous Nasi Lemak Burger in Singapore has already sold out after just two short weeks but don’t fret Singaporeans, there’s even better Nasi Lemak Burgers for you out there. Of course, Malaysia has their own version too from MyBurgerlab so if you want to get a taste of this sensational burger, you know where to go!
Here are two more awesome Nasi Lemak Burgers you can get in Singapore but this time, it comes with real nasi in place of its buns! Yes, it appears that these eateries were paying attention as many of you have complained that the nasi lemak burger isn’t complete without some nasi. Right?
1. The Beast Nasi Lemak Burger
This restaurant-cum-bar has branched out to a limited edition National Day menu serving several types of food that have got us salivating. Other than the Nasi Lemak Burger, which is priced at S$20 (RM63), the menu includes other local fusion delicacies that you probably never heard of.
The star of the menu is none other than the Nasi Lemak Burger, which boasts a juicy fried chicken thigh drenched in fragrant sambal sauce and a perfectly runny egg. This version clearly stands out from the fast food chain’s creation though as all of its yummy fillings are sandwiched between two deep fried fragrant coconut rice “buns”. It even comes with more deliciously fueled guilt in the form of luncheon meat fries as sides. Are you drooling yet?
Other items on the National Day menu include Salted Egg Yolk Chicken & Pandan Waffles – S$20 (RM63), which is described as “salted egg yolk chicken served on a crisp pandan waffle with a side of creamy milk sauce”, and Beef Rendang Cheese Fries – S$14 (RM44), which are “fries topped with our secret rendang recipe and oozy mozzarella cheese”.
Then, wash it all down with a cool Pandan Arnold Palmer – S$6 (RM18), which is basically pandan-infused lemonade with southern sweet tea for a refreshing ending!
Best of all, they have a special promotion known as the Yum Seng set, which will allow you to enjoy all three limited edition dishes plus two pandan arnold palmers for only S$56 (RM176). Moreover, you’ll even get a further discount of S$4 (RM12.60) if you yum seng with the friendly servers at The Beast!
2. Nasi Lemak Burger @ Makansutra Gluttons Bay
This awesome eatery has also come up with their own version of the Nasi Lemak Burger but their yummy nasi “buns” are mixed with otah and then fried until crispy. This really adds flavour to the buns! The usual accompaniments to nasi lemak are present in the burger of course, such as nuts, sambal, runny egg and some crunchy ikan bilis.
However, they’ve also added a nice, crispy piece of fish fillet in between the nasi “buns” to make your tummy even happier. This burger is more affordable and is priced at only S$7.50 (RM23.70).
