A fight broke out at a Kopitiam in Taiping recently, and the 15-year-old son of the premise owner collapsed and passed away after witnessing the fight, allegedly due to extreme shock.

The funeral was held on January 15, and the teenager’s mum decided to share what happened on that fateful night.

“The customer was baffled that he needed to pay for a tissue pack”

In a report by China Press, the 40-year-old mum said that one of the customers was already drunk, not to mention that it was a busy night. She approached the customers to take their orders without asking the drunk customer.

“He scolded me for not taking his order. I took the order of the other 3 because I thought he already ordered since he had a beer with him.”

“I apologised to him, and took his order again, which he told me to bring another 3 bottles of beer,” she added.

Not long after, the customer asked for tissue, to which another employee of the Kopitiam brought him a pack of tissue and asked him to pay 50 sen.

The customer was NOT happy that he had to pay for a tissue, so he started to get physical by slapping the employee.

“It’s dangerous”!

The woman also said that when the fight happened, her 15-year-old son was holding a chair, which she assumed was to protect himself. According to her, her teenage son had never faced such a situation.

“He was even afraid of a cat. I couldn’t see his facial expressions during the fight, but I heard him shouting and saying it was dangerous.”

Not long after, her son collapsed and never woke up again.
