Dr Akmal assisted a rider who had gotten into an accident

In the footage, Akmal is seen pausing his journey to assist a rider who had crashed and sustained visible bloody injuries.

Going above and beyond, Akmal performed a physical check on the man, examining his limbs for further trauma. During the incident, a driver also stopped to help, revealing that he had managed to brake just in time when the rider in front of him suddenly swerved out of control.

Akmal further assisted by removing the rider’s jacket to fashion a makeshift arm sling while calling for emergency services.

“We are always given two choices in life: to care, or not to care. Always put yourselves in the shoes of those facing hardship. Would we want help when we are in need, or not? That is the choice we should make,” Akmal wrote in his caption.

He also took a moment to thank members of the public who stopped to assist, including those who directed traffic, called the ambulance, contacted the rider’s family, and cleared debris from the road.

“You are the true heroes of Malaysia. May this young man be granted a full recovery and be protected by Allah,” he added.
