As most of us know, the best way to relive old memories is to revisit nostalgic places! For those residing in Banting and Klang, there’s a new attraction in town – you can hop on the iconic Bus 127 again for a little blast from the past!
Bus 127 will once again be in service, though not as a public transport this time around, but for ‘passengers’ to enjoy the night with yummy food and drinks. Transforming into ‘NightBus 127’, this western food terminal has opened its doors to the public on January 27.
Back in the day where private transportation was not as widely popular as now, Bus 127 was the only means of transport for the local residents of Banting and Klang. Travelling from Teluk Datok, Kapar, Jenjarom, and Kampung Seberang, three to four generations of its loyal passengers have painted their times of youth and life journeys along with it.
Once you step into NightBus 127, be prepared for some #throwback episodes as you relive the golden ages through its old school and vintage interior decor, along with colourful retro disco lights twinkling all over the bus! Customers can choose to either have their meals inside or outside the bus, both with an eye-pleasing view under the star-studded night sky. Date night-friendly!
To retain its familiarity and authenticity, NightBus 127 is located at its original bus stop stand. Plus, if you’re addicted to IG one who loves documenting your makan adventures, you’ll be pleased to know that this place is Insta-worthy!
