A man accepted his wife’s wish to take her best friend as his second wife and proceeded with the marriage on December 24 (Sunday).

The 38-year-old from Kampung Kolam Limbongan said that his second wife and his first wife have been best friends for the longest time.

According to a post by Sinar Harian, even though it was his first wife’s plan from the beginning, he said that the desire to be polygamous needed to get permission from her first.

He added that for the 12 years of marriage with his first wife, he admitted that he was happy and they have also been blessed with 3 children aged 4 to 11 years old.

“My advice to men who want to be polygamous is to tell the truth, God willing, it will last until Jannah (heaven),”

“This wedding is not because of me alone, but also to celebrate my first wife welcoming the presence of love by giving way for love to be shared in happiness together,” he said.

His first wife not only wished for the union to happen but also attended the wedding wearing a white robe matching his second wife.
