An unidentified user thought it was a good idea to share tips that has sparked frustration among netizens. The user shared the story of meeting her now-husband, who was already married with one child.
According to a tweet from user @twtsecretsmy, it was disclosed that during their introduction, the husband’s wife was expecting their second child. The woman worked at the same place as her husband, and she mentioned that he was in a long-distance relationship with his wife residing in Pahang.
The woman shared that they had fallen in love and were eager to get married. However, the initial wife opposed his visit and openly disapproved of their relationship.
To make matters more complicated, the first wife went as far as reaching out to the woman’s parents, seeking guidance on convincing her to end the relationship with her husband.
“But I ignored all that; I endured because I sought her blessing.”
Upon their return to Malaysia, the woman found out she was pregnant. One day, she received a call from her husband’s first wife. To her surprise, the first wife asked for reconciliation.
Drawing from her own experiences, the anonymous woman advises any woman involved with a married man not to lose hope and to turn to prayer.
However, many netizens disagreed with her advice and began filling the comment section.
“You’re scared of getting scolded for getting pregnant? You dug your own grave by getting involved with a married man while the wife was pregnant at the time. Did you ever think of how his wife would feel at the time? Don’t encourage other women to be like you. You’re selfish, anon. Even now that you’ve made amends with the wife, you won’t know for sure how she’s really feeling.”
“Long story short, the husband left the wife and child alone to marry another person overseas. The first wife’s opinion didn’t matter. The husband does whatever he wants, and now the first wife is forced to accept it.”
“I feel scared when I get to know a boyfriend, let alone someone’s fiancé. I hope this doesn’t happen to me.”
“It doesn’t make it any easier for the first wife and the kids, speaking from my own experience. I hate every bit of it. The kids are going to grow up hating you. Of course, kids wouldn’t understand, but they eventually will as they get older. When anything happens to you and their father, don’t be surprised if no one is willing to come help you.”
